TEHRAN, December 23 (MNA) – President of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko has been registered as a candidate in the next presidential elections in Belarus, the Central Election Commission released information.It was reported that 5 candidates, including Lukashenko, will compete for the presidency, APA reports.

According to the CEC, Lukashenko's candidacy has collected more than 2.5 million signatures in support, while the remaining candidates have collected a little over 100,000 each.
