Senior Biden administration officials are reportedly meeting with an Israeli delegation on Tuesday to discuss “other avenues should diplomacy fail” with the Iran nuclear talks, Reuters news agency reported US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan will host his Israeli counterpart Eyal Hulata at the White House on Tuesday for talks on the Iranian nuclear program, Israeli media reported.

Sullivan and Hulata will chair a meeting of the US-Israel Strategic Consultative Group (SRG), an inter-agency bilateral forum established in March for discussing Iran and other regional security issues, a senior US official told reporters Monday in a briefing.

The SRG includes representatives from the military, diplomatic and intelligence communities in both Israel and the US “We of course remain committed to a diplomatic path,' a senior US source told Reuters.

'But obviously if that doesn't work there are other avenues to pursue, and we are fully committed to ensuring that Iran never develops a nuclear weapon.' When pressed for specificity on what those additional options entailed, the source only said “we'll be prepared to take measures that are necessary.” Meanwhile, the US official detailed that Iran is “sending indications to a number of parties that they are preparing to come back to Vienna.”
