In a recent development, US President Joe Biden has reportedly told Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that the United States opposes any Israeli response to Iran's retaliatory strike, as revealed by Axios.
Following the unprecedented Iranian retaliation on 'Israel' in response to a strike on Iran's consulate in Damascus, Biden spoke with Netanyahu to convey the US stance.
Biden stated that US forces have assisted Israel in intercepting the majority of incoming drones and missiles and announced a coordinated diplomatic response with fellow G7 leaders.
Despite supporting 'Israel' in defensive measures, Biden made it clear that the US will not participate in offensive operations against Iran.
