TEHRAN, February 19 (MNA) – The 15th plenary session of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly (APA), chaired by Azerbaijan, kicked off in Baku on Wednesday morning.The event is attended by a delegation of 35, including nearly 280 representatives, and a number of important issues are set to be discussed.

Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf is scheduled to deliver a speech at the event.

APA, as an important parliamentary diplomacy platform uniting Asian parliaments, also serves to advance discussions and dialogue between the legislative bodies of member countries.
