TEHRAN, May 07 (MNA) – The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei is delivering a televised speech as people across the world mark International Quds Day on Friday.

Today, which is the last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan, is marked by the people across the world as International Quds Day.

The day was designated by Late Leader Imam Khomeini in 1979 to express support for the Palestinians and oppose Zionism and the Israeli regime.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution of Iran Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei started a speech minutes ago on the occasion.
