Lebanese President Michel Aoun received UN Special Coordinator in Lebanon Jan Kubis, on Friday at Baabda Presidential Palace.

Kubis briefed the President on the deliberations of the UN Security Council on the implementation of Resolution 1701, as part of the regular briefings which the Security Council conducts as a follow-up of the situation in south Lebanon, and the work of UNIFIL international forces.

The meeting was attended by former Minister, Salim Jreisatti, Lebanese Presidency Director-General Antoine Choucair and Adviser Osama Khachab, National News Agency reported.
