Hamas Chief Ismail Haniyeh received on Monday Islamic Jihad Secretary General Ziad Nakhale and the two leaders underlined unity of the resistance groups in face of the Israeli aggression on Gaza.
Hamas resistance group announced on its website that Nakhale, accompanied by his deputy Mohammad Al-Hindi, visited Haniyeh in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The leaders stressed importance of the Palestinian resistance unity on both political and military levels, as they hailed the supporting fronts in Lebanon, Yemen and Iraq, Hamas said on its website.
Haniyeh and Nakhale lauded the epic steadfastness of the Palestinian people despite the horrible massacres committed by the Israeli occupation.
The Palestinian leaders also discussed the latest developments of the negotiations aimed at reaching a deal on the ceasefire in Gaza.
