Israeli occupation forces targeted a car in the al-Shati refugee camp in Gaza City, killing three sons of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh.

The incident occurred on the day of Eid al-Fitr, a Muslim holiday marking the end of Ramadan, when families come together to celebrate.

The three sons, identified as Hazem, Amir, and Mohammad, along with several of Haniyeh's grandchildren, were martyred in the strike.

Among the children who lost their lives were Amal, Khaled, and Razan.

Haniyeh, who is currently leading Hamas' Political Bureau from Doha, Qatar, received the devastating news with great resilience.

Despite the unimaginable loss, Haniyeh remained strong and visited a hospital to check on wounded Palestinians in Qatar, extending his condolences to the families affected by the violence.

He mourned the loss of his children and grandchildren, declaring that their sacrifice would only strengthen the resolve of the Palestinian people in their fight for freedom.

The Government's Media Office in Gaza condemned the Israeli occupation for the senseless attack, stating that the victims were targeted while conducting Eid al-Fitr visits in Gaza.

The incident adds to the growing death toll in Gaza, with over 125 Palestinians killed by Israeli occupation forces in recent days.

In response to the aggression, Haniyeh vowed that the Palestinian people would not back down in their struggle for liberation.

He emphasized that the bloodshed would only fuel their determination to secure their rights and stand up to the occupation
