Israeli occupation went ahead with brutal aggression against Palestinian people in Gaza, with warplanes striking tents of displaced citizens including journalists at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital on Sunday on the 177th day of the war.
Gaza’s Government Media Office said the Israeli occupation committed “a new massacre by bombing the tents of journalists and displaced people inside the walls of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital” in central Gaza Strip.
Khaled Al-Dakran, the spokesman for the hospital, said the facility’s courtyard was directly targeted in the Israeli attack that we have been sharing updates about.
“Hospitals and medical teams and all health sector workers must be protected and the international community must provide such protection,” he said.

Elsewhere in Khan Younis, at least 16 people were martyred in the strike which took place since dawn on Sunday, according to Palestinian sources.
Death Toll Increases Health Ministry in Gaza announced on Sunday that the death toll from Israeli aggression on Gaza has risen to 32,782, adding that 75,298 people have been injured since October 7.
The toll includes 77 people killed and 108 wounded in the past 24 hours, the ministry said.
Talks Resume in Cairo Meanwhile, Egyptian media reported that the talks aimed at reaching a deal on a ceasefire in Gaza resume.
Egypt’s Al Qahera News TV station said the indirect talks for a truce in Gaza take place in Cairo today.
Reuters news agency reported that that Hamas would not be present at the talks in Cairo as it waited to hear from mediators on whether a new Israeli offer was on the table.
For its part, Israeli media quoted an Israeli official as saying that the mid-level Israeli delegation taking part in the talks today is “to gauge whether there is any point in having Mossad chief David Barnea and Shin Bet head Ronen Bar participate in negotiations in the coming days.” The official told The Times of Israel that the Zionist entity is “disappointed” with the Qatari mediation.
“They are not putting enough pressure on Hamas,” the official said, adding that Tel Aviv “is willing to show some flexibility on prisoner releases, but is not willing to let masses of Gazans move back to the northern part of the Strip” as Hamas demands.
Grime Easter in Gaza On the other hand, Christian Palestinians in Gaza observe Easter amid muted festivities.
The Christian community in Gaza held Easter services without electricity due to Israeli siege of the bombarded enclave.
Around 100 people gathered by candlelight on Saturday night at the Holy Family Church in Gaza City in the north of the Strip to mark the resurrection.
