Dozens of Zionist settlers on Tuesday stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, backed by occupation forces, an Israeli provocation that continued in the holy site for the second day.
The Islamic Endowments of Al-Quds announced that groups of Zionist settlers successively stormed the holy compound under heavy protection of occupation forces, Palestinian media reported.

Palestinian WAFA news agency reported that Israeli occupation forces launched a drone over Al-Aqsa as the settlers were storming the holy site.

Tensions have been high in the occupied city as Israeli occupation has been securing the provocative storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque by Zionist settlers marking the Jewish New Year.
Earlier on Monday, fierce clashes were reported as dozens of Palestinians confronted occupation police attacks in the holy compound.
