TEHRAN, November 22 (MNA) – Located in northwestern Iran, along the Caspian Sea coast just north of the city of Lavandevil, the Lavandevil Wildlife Refuge is home to the largest red deer in Iran.

A male red deer is called a stag or hart, and a female is called a hind.

The red deer inhabits most of Europe, the Caucasus Mountains region, Anatolia, Iran, and parts of western Asia.
