By Staff, Agencies Chief Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps [IRGC] Major General Hossein Salami said Iran is in possession of everything necessary to defeat the adversaries. Addressing a congress held on Thursday in commemoration of Iranian martyrs, Major General Salami said the Islamic Republic of Iran possesses all of the things for defeating the enemies.
“The tools in our possession are unique,” he added.
Salami also advised the enemies to abandon their abject dreams and stay away from Iranian people.
All of the enemy’s dreams and objectives have ended in failure, the IRGC chief said, adding that the policy of maximum pressure has also failed to prevent Iran from boosting its defense power, including missile capabilities.
Major General Salami also reiterated that the assassination of Iranian scientists, like Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, would never impede the country’s scientific progress.
Fakhrizadeh, a senior nuclear and defense scientist, was assassinated in a small city east of Tehran on November 27.
In a message after the incident, Leader of the Islamic Revolution His Eminence Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei called on all relevant administrators to “investigate this crime and firmly prosecute its perpetrators and its commanders” and “to continue the martyr’s scientific and technological efforts in all the sectors where he was active.”
