A young Palestinian man, Ibrahim Zaqeq, was fatally shot by Israeli occupation forces during a confrontation in the town of Beit Ummar, north of Hebron.

Zaqeq, a former detainee, was targeted with live bullets, leading to his death and several cases of gas inhalation among residents.

Local media activist Muhammad Awad reported that the town erupted in clashes as the occupation forces made their presence known.

Simultaneously, other parts of the West Bank experienced similar confrontations.

In Jenin, Palestinian journalist Hamza Al-Jaber was arrested and assaulted in his own home, prompting an armed response from the Palestinian resistance.

Meanwhile, tension escalated further as occupation forces also raided the town of Kafr Ni’ma, west of Ramallah.

The West Bank has witnessed an increase in clashes between resistance fighters and occupation forces since October 7th, with Israeli media expressing concerns about the threat posed by explosive devices used by the resistance.

Israeli media have highlighted the transformation of the West Bank into a battleground reminiscent of Gaza and Lebanon, citing the evolving military operations and capabilities of resistance fighters in the region.
