The Palestinian fighters in the Tulkarm refugee camp confronted Israeli occupation forces during a recent raid.

Palestinian media reported that improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were set off by the Resistance fighters in response to the incursion.

The clashes escalated in the Al-Manshiyeh neighborhood of Nur Shams camp, where a powerful explosive device detonated near Israeli occupation military vehicles, resulting in injuries to two soldiers.

The raid led to extensive destruction in the camp, with reports of Israeli bulldozers deliberately demolishing shops in the square.

As tensions rose, Israeli occupation forces also conducted arrests in other West Bank areas.

Two Palestinian youths, Usaid Taha and Alaa Al-Tamouni, were taken from their homes in the Shweika suburb.

In Duma and Al-Mughayyir, additional arrests and field investigations were carried out by the IOF

Meanwhile, in al-Khalil, Molotov cocktails and fireworks were used to target an Israeli occupation military tower at the entrance of the Al-Arroub refugee camp.

The city of Dura also saw a raid, resulting in the arrest of a young man named Nadi Khalil al-Rajoub.

Amidst these events, the Palestinian Prisoners' Day was observed on April 17th, with the Commission of Detainees and Ex-Detainees Affairs releasing a fact sheet detailing the plight of Palestinians in Israeli prisons.

Over 8,270 Palestinians, including women, children, and journalists, have been detained since October 7, with reports of torture and abuse emerging from the prisons.

The ongoing detention campaigns have sparked outrage and condemnation from Palestinian activists and human rights organizations, highlighting the need for justice and freedom for all those unjustly imprisoned by Israeli occupation forces.
