Hezbollah issued on Sunday a statement to congratulate the Islamic Republic of Iran and its mujahid fighter on the unprecedented quality attack which targeted the oppressing and aggressing entity of the enemy, hailing that resolve response to the Zionist aggression on the Iranian consulate in Damascus.

The Islamic Republic exercised its normal and legal right despite the threats, intimidation, and pressures and implemented its truthful pledge with unparalleled courage, great wisdom, and high appreciation of the situation at the level of the entire region and even at the level of the world, according to the statement.

Hezbollah noted that the operation achieved its precisely defined military objectives, despite the participation of the United States, its international allies, and its regional puppets in repelling the stunning attack.

However, the statement added, the long-term political and strategic objectives of this major development will emerge successively and along with time and will establish a new phase at the level of the entire Palestinian issue and at the level of the historical conflict with this enemy on the path to the inevitable victory of 'our Arab and Islamic Umma as well as the oppressed and resisting Palestinian people'.

In retaliation for its numerous transgressions, notably the recent assault on the Iranian consulate in Syria’s Damascus on April 1, the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) announced the onset of Operation Truthful Promise” against the Zionist occupation entity, emphasizing that “the operation utilized dozens of missiles and drones to precisely target specific locations within the occupied territories.”
