The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Thursday its daily report in which it announced 647 new coronavirus cases, 627 of them for locals and 20 among the arrivals, raising total to 616179.

The report added that 16142 PCR tests were conducted during the past 24 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 576672.

According to the report, 6 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 8224.

Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually
