The Lebanese ministry of public health issued on Saturday its daily report in which it announced 1695 new coronavirus cases, 1679 of them for locals and 16 for the arrivals, raising total to 508503.

The report added that 18233 PCR tests were conducted during the past 48 hours, adding that the number of cases of recovery from the coronavirus rose to 423848.

According to the report, 32 new coronavirus-related death cases were registered, which raised toll to 6886.

Lebanon has continued the anti-coronavirus vaccination campaign across all the provinces as the batches of vaccines are scheduled to arrive in Beirut gradually.

In this context, the report noted that 237204 citizens received the first shot of the vaccine, adding that the second shot have been given to 126654 of them.

The ministry also announced the arrival of the tenth batch of Pfizer vaccines containing 47970 doses, adding that Lebanon has so far received from Pfizer 391950 shots
