Yemenis staged a demonstration in front of the UN office in Sana’a to condemn the UN donor conference and renew their calls on the international organization and the international community to end the Saudi piracy against Yemeni oil vessels.  The protesters described the UN donor conference as a "historical farce." They said the seized oil vessels must be released, and the Saudi war as well as the blockade of Yemen must be stopped.

Fourteen Yemeni oil ships remain illegally confscated by the Saudi-led coalition.

The vessels were inspected and authorized by the United Nations through the Verification and Inspection Mechanism.

The seizure has led to a harsh shortage of fuel in the country.  Yemenis say instead of raising funds for its organization’s expenses, the UN must pressure Saudi Arabia to release the oil vessels if it wants to help the humanitarian situation
