Mohammed al-Attab Press TV, Sana'a In response to Saudi escalation, Yemen's army backed by popular committee forces launched a ballistic attack on a gathering of Saudi-led coalition forces in Abien killing and injuring dozens.

Experts say the attack has foiled a military advancement towards Albieda. Earlier, Yemeni army spokesperson, Bridger General Yahya Sareia released a new statement in which he accused Riyadh of carrying out over 300 air strikes across Yemen just over the past week.

He warned Saudi Arabia of upcoming painful retaliatory operations deep inside its territories.

Just earlier this week, all members of a Yemeni family were killed in a Saudi airstrike in Razeh district of Sadah province.

This came despite the UN's calls for an end to Saudi airstrikes and fierce confrontations between both warring sides to prepare the ground for health operations to tackle any possible case of coronavirus in Yemen.

The country which has been declared by the World Health Organization as free from the global a pandemic so far.

Over 17 thousand Yemenis have been killed in direct Saudi airstrikes and millions of others have been forced into displacement and hunger.

Meanwhile, with the coronavirus threat looming, the country's minister of health has warned that 28 million civilians could be in danger of contracting the global pandemic in a span of some weeks.

Army's late April's attacks on Riyadh, according to experts has proved that Ansarallah and their allies have been successful to penetrate deep inside the US-installed dome air defenses in the kingdom.

This means that Yemeni are capable enough to pose greater threat against Saudi Arabia's vital economic targets
