On the occasion of the Arbaeen (40th) of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (PBUH) and his faithful companions, a mourning ceremony is being held by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Sayyed Ali Khamenei.

The ceremony is held in Imam Khomeini Hussainiya, where the Supreme Leader hold public meetings and ceremonies.

University student heyats (religious groups) from throughout the country have attended this mourning ceremony.

During the mourning ceremony, Imam Khamenei described Arbaeen as a divine miracle which marked the largest and most gorgeous event throughout History this year.
