Yemen-Press Saudi Aramco is buying oil from neighboring countries to meet its obligations to supply foreign refineries, after the attacks on the two of its facilities 10 days ago, informed sources told Reuters. The sources said that the firm's trade arm was managing crude supplies from the UAE and Kuwait to cover commitments to refineries outside the kingdom in countries such as Bahrain, Malaysia and South Korea.

Aramco's trading unit has yet to respond to a request for comment.

Two sources said that Aramco trades small shipments of UAE crude for Bahrain Refinery and other complexes from Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

'ADNOC will send two to three million (barrels) of Mirban to Bahrain,' a source said.

Marban is one of the main light raw materials for UAE oil.

'We also saw Marban heading to Malaysia,' another source said, referring to a joint venture between Malaysia's state oil company Petronas and Aramco
