TEHRAN, April 19 (MNA) – The Iranian foreign ministry spokesman condemned the United States for vetoing the Palestine bid to become a full member of the United Nations.Spokesperson of the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nasser Kan'ani said in a statement on Friday that, "This action by Washington revealed the fraudulent nature of the US foreign policy and the isolation of this country's stance towards the international community more than ever in front of the people of the world." "US unilateral support to the Zionist regime at the expense of the American people which has undermined regional and international peace and security in the past 7 decades not only does not work anymore, but also has made the American rulers disgraced more than ever before to the world people." He further noted Washington's support for the Israeli regime has proven to the world that the US "is not a neutral actor and a responsible player in the international community." The spokesman went on to highlight that Iran believes that the will of the resistant and heroic Palestinian nation will ultimately overcome the will of the enemies of the Palestinian nation, with the fake, above all apartheid and criminal Israeli regime.
