TEHRAN (Tasnim) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry’s spokesperson offered condolences to Turkey on the loss of lives in a hotel fire that broke out at a ski resort in the northwestern Bolu province on Tuesday. - Politics news - Esmaeil Baqaei expressed the heartfelt condolences and sympathy of the Iranian government and people to the families of the victims, as well as the government and people of Turkey, the ministry’s website reported.Ha also prayed for divine mercy and forgiveness for those who lost their lives in the incident and wished a swift recovery and full health for the injured.The fire at the ski resort killed at least 66 people and injured 51 others, Turkish Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya said on Tuesday.Of the injured, 17 were discharged from hospital while one remains in intensive care.The fire broke out in the restaurant area of the Kartalkaya ski resort hotel, quickly engulfing the building.
