TEHRAN, January 21 (MNA) – Chief of the General Staff of 'Israel', Herzi Halevi, has announced his resignation, effective March 6.Herzi Halevi has notified Defense Minister Israel Katz that he intends to resign on March 6, Times Of Israel reports.

The decision comes amidst heightened internal tensions after Gaza ceasefire was enforced.
